Rebecca Lewis has always been a keen maker of things.  She asked for a sewing machine for her 13th birthday and sewed her way through a succession of interesting outfits during the eighties.  She now lives with her husband, two children and two dogs in a tiny cottage nestled on a little hillside in the beautiful Conwy Valley of North Wales, happily positioned between the mountains and the sea.  She dusted off her sewing machine a few years ago in a desire to dress her daughter in the sort of clothes that did not come emblazoned with advertising logos.
